This is our new reality, what does your new reality look like?
To many, this is not a normal working day. You may be trying to work from home, or still going into the office but with a more anxious demeanour than you are used to.
I for one am really grateful that Keyhouse expertise has enabled working from home to be a pleasant experience during times that are certainly less than pleasant. A meeting on Microsoft Teams isn’t an unusual occurrence for us, some of our team already work remotely. We don’t have to worry about accessing client information to ensure projects run smoothly – why? – because we too use the Keyhouse software to manage our work.
Sitting at my desk, looking out at the sun I could be anywhere in the world, when in fact I am actually in Dublin, only a stone’s throw from the office. I am currently using a VPN (Virtual Private Network) to access my work. Installed by IT. If this is something you want to learn more about then contact your IT provider and ask about VPN/RDP (Remote Desktop Program) access. If they are unable to help you, Keyhouse can assist you.
However, this is not the only option available to me. I could work on the cloud thanks to the latest version of Keyhouse, good internet and up to date IT infrastructure. This is the future of technology and we have been successfully moving clients over to the cloud long before Coronavirus.
If neither of these were an option, I could use the Keyhouse mobile app. Admittedly access is a bit more limited, but I could still record time, review my documents and client files, or record and assign dictations and emails. Suitable for both mobile and tablet devices and is already used by many of our clients who, prior to this, would have been out and about a lot.
